It is with considerable mortifications and no small degree of vexation that we find ourselves compelled to relate an intelligence of a most disagreeable nature.
Our much anticipated Jane Austen Scenes and Tea Party, which was to have afforded us such exquisite pleasure, must, I am exceedingly sorry to say, be deferred until the season of spring shall dawn upon us once again.

We are happy to assure you that the precise date of our rescheduled merriment shall be made known to you upon the publication of our complete summer calendar in January.

Jane Austen Postponed

We've sponsored a wide variety of performances including traditional theatre, contemporary dance, classical music, and original works.  Check out some of our past works below.

An inspiring sacred music Masterclass with renowned composer Paul Jernberg, this was a weekend long experience featuring interactive demonstrations, lively discussions, and the chance to connect with new and exciting people. Open to singers and non-singers alike, this event provided the opportunity to be immersed in the beauty of sacred music and to learn from one of the most respected composers in the field.

A Christmas Festival of Carols

Our annual Christmas concert featuring Cor Unum children's choir, adult choir, and local musicians.  Repertoire varies from year to year, but always includes a variety of classical music along with traditional and folk Christmas songs both from here and abroad.

Into the Light

Into the Light, an original piece blending classical music, memoir,  and education.  This performance addresses the dissonance between a compassionate community and the lack of public response in the face of sexual abuse.

From Puccini to Louis Prima, this al fresco concert featured Italian Arias, film scores, and the best of Italian Swing.

Italian Night!

Jonathan Sims has been tasked with organizing the archives of the Magnus Institute. Sifting through stories of the supernatural and bizarre, he seeks to discover which accounts are true from those that are not...
Held on the outdoor garden stage, this immersive performance experience brought stories from the hit horror podcast series to life through acting and effects while the audience space was lit by torchlight.

A pairing of historical love letters from 1946 performed live and underscored by a classical piano trio.

Life is Beautiful

John Cariani's "Almost, Maine" takes a close look at the struggles and genuine comedy of love.  Set in the tiny, fictional town of Almost, the show combines just a touch of magical realism into what is otherwise a series of strikingly human encounters.  The result is a fantastically witty, touching, and often times hilarious show.

Suffer Up was the centerpiece to our June Showcase, a dance piece set to original music that gives a whimsical yet powerful expression of the phases of life.  While directed by Annie Powers, this piece was a collaborative work and each of the dancers contributed to the final performance.
